We chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives

Our progress brings us together and drives us to grow, learn and collectively push our limits. What do we mean by scientific miracles? For us, it means medical breakthroughs that lead to a significant improvement in patients' lives. In practice, it means that we focus our resources where the need is greatest and where the greatest potential to improve lives and protect public health exists.

Our Swedish office is located on Kungsholmen in Stockholm and employs around 150 people.

Shaping the future of research

Collaboration between industry, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations is essential to enable the development and effective use of new medicines and to shape the future of research. Bringing greater transparency to these already well-regulated relationships aims to increase understanding of the collaboration between industry, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations.

As a member company of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Sanofi discloses data on its collaborations with healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations across Europe, including value transfers for activities such as research and education costs, consultancy fees, consultancy overheads and costs related to events targeting healthcare professionals.

Sanofi in Sweden is part of Läkemedelsindustriföreningen (LIF) which is a trade association for research-based pharmaceutical companies operating in Sweden. The Swedish reporting of collaborations with healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations takes place in LIF's collaboration database. It also reports annually on collaborations between pharmaceutical companies and various interest groups such as patient associations, disability associations and patients/relatives.

The LIF cooperation database

The cooperation database was created in 2005 and currently consists of four different sections:

  • Stakeholder organizations
  • Patient/relatives
  • Development projects with healthcare organizations
  • Transparent reporting of transfers of value to the health care system.

For more information and to view Sanofi's reporting, visit the LIF website.
