Thomas Triomphe leads the company’s vaccines R&D, industrial and commercial operations and drives the teams’ commitment to prevention against infectious diseases, with a portfolio encompassing seasonal influenza vaccines, pediatric combinations, adolescents & adults boosters, meningitis and travel/endemic vaccines, as well as the development of the first preventive intervention against respiratory syncytial virus for all infants and vaccines against COVID-19.
Thomas joined Sanofi in 2004 and held various positions at country, regional and global levels, including Global Head of Influenza-Pneumo Franchise, Japan General Manager, and Head of Asia-Pacific region. Prior to his current appointment, Thomas led the Franchise & Product Strategy organization, implementing the global brands model and designing the vaccines business roadmap. Earlier in his career, Thomas worked in banking and strategic consulting.
Thomas holds a master’s in industrial engineering from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and an MBA from INSEAD.
A father of three and an avid runner, Thomas lets off steam by training for long-distance races.
